Other than the difficulty level and the undo functionality, all other options can be changed at any time. The first four items in the “Options” menu are toggles; the feature is either on or off. “Sounds” toggles, well, sounds - that is, all sounds except the tile placement “click” sound, which you can control separately. If the “Messages” feature is on, Hot Spot will display an error dialog box if you try to do anything illegal - for instance, placing a tile next to another of the same color or symbol. Finally, Hot Spot has several fun little graphic effects which will only be done if the “Graphic effects” feature is on.
